I was born on the Devon and Cornwall border, and the Tamar Valley, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor have been constants in my life.

ABOUT US
With frequent visits to the North and South coasts, Bude, Widemouth, Boscastle, Northcott Mouth, Polperro and Looe have all featured strongly in my paintings. Vivid memories of sand castles, ice-cream, rockpools, fishing and watching artist's painting harbour's, coastlines and engine houses have been truly inspirational.
After years as a quarryman and stonemason I now divide my time between painting, gardening and farm work. Self-taught, I like to capture light and colour or an event that tells a story.
I paint for the enjoyment of creating and hope my efforts may put a smile on a few faces or stir a forgotten memory.
